This is not my first lotus-themed teapot, but it is my most sophisticated one. The continuous creativity of the Yixing tradition never ceases to amaze me!
Having reached some significant age, I felt entitled to a peach themed teapot. This one is the most unusual shade of deep blue. It glows. The potting is firm and tight. I love it!
This adorable teapot is beautifully potted, with the eggplant not so obvious unless you look for the shape. The snail on the lid guids the way. Glorious finish!
