【作品介紹】西施是经典壶型之一，在生动的题材中，紫砂艺人们通过世代的传承，使一把实用紫砂器装点出让人联想绵绵的千古情节。精选原矿黑泥手工制作而成，点滴变化，魅力无穷，由精简的线面，架构成西施乳形，流线丰满光润，身盖相连呈截盖，钮为扁圆乳头状，底向里收敛，呈一捺底状，嘴短而粗大，把圈向上倾斜，俗称“倒把”，整器均采用暗接处理，甚见壶艺家功力。西施壶历来是自用壶、观赏壶、把玩壶，展现女子柔美，然而懂行的人都知道，柔需有度，矫枉过正则落入流俗，更是不堪赏玩。
【泥料特点】砂土气重，似淳实农民，日久使用,渐露锋芒，养成变化甚大,温润庄重。线条优美自然，嘴把搭配协调，身桶配上细长的把搭配，更显优雅。
