【作品介紹】西施壶，顾名思义：应该和西施一样美，倒把西施原名叫文旦壶,文旦壶中的格调高雅者，原先叫西施乳，言壶之形若美女西施之丰乳，确实此壶象丰满的乳房，壶纽象乳头，流短而略粗，把为倒耳之形，盖采用截盖式，壶底近底处内收，一捺底，后人觉“西施乳”不雅，改称“倒把西施壶”。
【泥料特点】砂土气重，似淳实农民，日久使用,渐露锋芒，养成变化甚大,温润庄重。线条优美自然，嘴把搭配协调，身桶配上细长的把搭配，更显优雅。
【冲泡建议】比较适合冲泡熟普洱茶，老白茶，乌龙茶，红茶等，建议一茶待一壶。

This is my first Yixing teapot, and am very pleased with my purchase. Parcel arrived very securely packaged. The teapot comes in a cloth pouch, inside a padded gift box, and with optional cord to attach lid to handle. I love seeing the signs of skill that went into its crafting, and its shape is so cute. The clay has a faint earthy metallic smell (I find pleasant), but doesn't impact taste, and lessens with use. As a long time lover of pottery, I'm happy to add to my collection, and learning new ways to brew and enjoy tea.
